In terms of specific details, the MG7’s front fascia adopts a styling language characteristic of a pure sports car; its all-new "Digital Hunter-Eye" headlights—inspired by the vertical pupils of a cheetah—lend the vehicle a particularly striking and distinctive appearance. The hood cascades downward in elegant curves to envelop the front end, effectively lowering the vehicle's overall visual center of gravity. The MG7 offers two powertrain options—a 2.0T engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission (9AT), and a 1.5T engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT). It delivers a maximum output of 261 horsepower and 405 Nm of peak torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds.
